On Saturday, March 25^th, 2023, the St. Pius X School Board will sponsor A Winter’s Night Out – Diamonds & Denim at Wolferts Roost Country Club in Menands, NY. This annual event provides an opportunity for parents, friends, alumni, and parishioners of St. Pius X to come together for an evening of entertainment while raising money for our parish school.  

This year, we will be honoring individuals who have supported the growth of the St. Pius X School & Parish. Mr. Stephen Curtis and Gerry & Diane Forenzo, with their unwavering commitment, have helped foster an environment that is dedicated to creating a lasting impact for our St. Pius X community. Mr. Stephen Curtis has been a dedicated middle school teacher at St. Pius for over 25 years, the past few years also serving as the middle school Assistant Principal. Steve is always going above and beyond for our staff and families. Gerry & Diane Forenzo have been supporters of both the school and parish for many years and have volunteered endless hours for many Parish and School activities. Gerry also served as Head of Maintenance for many years.

In the past, parents, parishioners, friends, and other supporters helped raise over $50,000 for our school with their generous contributions. With these funds, we were able to add to our curriculum and grow our program. This year, with your support, we have several projects on our vision board that will benefit from your generosity.  Funds raised will assist with updating security at all school doors and installing access technology at key entrances, updating our PA system to improve communication within the building, and continue to replace outdated smartboard/projector technology with interactive smart TV’s.
