Whether your child is a three-year-old fascinated by bubbles or a thirteen-year-old interested in illustrating Kepler’s Third Law, St. Pius X offers the perfect environment for your student’s abilities and stage of growth.

Early Learners School – for pre-k (partial and full-day programs available) and kindergarten. The school experience is designed to engage young children in a wide range of creative, faith-based, academically stimulating projects that ignite their imagination and prepare them for classroom learning. Children learn to listen, take turns, and share with friends in our warm, colorful classrooms and on our spacious, fully equipped grounds. Each St. Pius X Early Learner graduates proudly, ready to enter elementary school. 

Elementary School – for grade one through grade five. During these crucial years, students form good learning and studying habits. They become accustomed to receiving and processing information through a variety of sources and media, and learn to synthesize their knowledge into meaningful messages through a diversity of challenging projects. Each student finishes fifth grade fully prepared for the rigors of middle school. 

Middle School – for grades six through eight. Students mature quickly during these years, blossoming as individual thinkers. The middle-school experience is geared towards readying them for the heavy academic demands of high school and the important emotional, moral, and social challenges of the teen years. St. Pius X Middle School graduates are ready, in every way, to meet the complex demands of high school.

Academic Excellence

Curriculum
St. Pius X School offers the entire curriculum of New York State, in conjunction with that of the Albany Roman Catholic Diocese. Our school participates in the New York State assessments, and typically outperform our public-school counterparts statewide.

Accreditation
We are accredited by AdvanceEd, which has recognized St. Pius X School for its devotion to its mission, high academic standards, and commitment to addressing the concerns of our parents and the needs of our students.

Staff
St. Pius X staff include 40 full-time certified teachers and administrators, two certified reading specialists, and a full-time nurse.

Facilities
In addition to regular classrooms, each equipped with interactive Smartboards, our school has two 30-station computer labs, mobile devices such as iPads and ChromeBooks, a 15,000-volume library, art studio, gymnasium, large parish center with full stage and a spacious cafeteria – with an award-winning hot lunch available daily. Our students enjoy a fully-equipped playground and nearly two acres of athletic fields for recess and recreation.
