February 2012 Newsletter

National Catholic Schools Week is drawing to a close. We hope that your children enjoyed joining with our friends, families and colleagues in America’s more than 7,000 Catholic schools to celebrate our common mission. At St. Pius X it is a time for us to rejoice in who we are and celebrate being a part of Catholic schools. Along with pajama days, pancake breakfasts, bowling and perhaps a movie with popcorn, students continued to bring in food items for The Sacred Heart Food Pantry, donate a dollar to wear their favorite hat to help the children in a new school in Haiti, and write cards to shut-ins and those in hospitals. The week ends on Friday, February 3rd with a school Mass at 9:00 a.m. We hope you can join us.

January 2012 Newsletter

Welcome back and Happy New Year! I hope that your holidays were filled with peace, joy and wonderful memories. Our students and their teachers are back to work, and our middle school students are studying hard for their mid-term exams.
With your support this 2012, we will continue to prepare your children very well academically as we share the Gospel message with them each day. Through a deepening understanding of our Catholic/Christian faith, we hope that your children will embrace those most in need of food, clothes, compassion, love and prayers. And at St. Pius X, we will keep God and His son Jesus Christ close to them so that they can continue to learn and grow in an environment that is blessed with His peace.

December 2011 eNewsletter

Season's greetings! The faculty, staff and students of St. Pius X are excited about the approach of Christmas and the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. While everyone here delights in the smiles of our students and the excitement that the advent season brings, we remain mindful that the greatest gift that we will receive this year will not come wrapped in paper and decorated with bows, Long after new toys are put away, cell phones are explored, and Teddy bears and American Girl dolls have settled into their new homes, God's gift to us, His only son, will remain forever.
