St. Pius X students have the opportunity to win recognition for their academic abilities via such events as our Science Fair, Spelling Bee (part of the Scripps National Spelling Bee program) and Geography Bee (part of the National Geographic Bee).

Our school Spelling and Geography Bees are held in the winter, and our Science Fair for grades five through eight takes place in the spring.

St. Pius X students also participate in band and enjoy music lessons across a wide selection of instruments. Piano and guitar lessons are also available.

Many of our extracurricular clubs and activities are focused on academic subjects. Some of them, such as Spanish club, reading clubs, and music and art lessons, expand on subjects taught in our classrooms.

Our academic programs for our middle school include trips to New York City, Boston and Washington D.C.
